Sleep Study....Results....Sleep Apnea

Soooooo, my PCP decided I needed a sleep study. She sent me to the pulmonary doctor for the test. They set up the date for Labor day night.
Of course before the test everyone gave me their opinion of what would happen, why I shouldn't do it, and what exactly would happen according to their own personal experience. ..And they were all wrong.
First of all the technician was a sweetheart. Secondly, I had the best night sleep in years. Thirdly, I slept almost the whole time except when changing over to a cpap machine and the 2 times going to potty.
Its probably a good thing I went.....The Results:

So according to the doctor to be considered a breathing interuption....aka stopping breathing. It has to be 10 seconds. I stopped breathing 100 times in an hour. My longest episode was 57 seconds. My oxygen level dropped to 65.
After putting the CPAP machine on me my episodes were 6 times in an hour.
Yeah this post is a bit serious. I'm scared. 100 times! 57 seconds! O2 stats a 65! I'm terrified!
I have my CPAP machine now. I can't sleep, my chest hurts, feel like I can't ever get enough air and it hurts to take a breath at times. By the way.... This is normal. And I get it, my lungs, chest and body aren't use to this much air flowing and pushing in and out of my body.  I'm tired. I'm sleepy all the time. And since I don't sleep my husband doesn't sleep.
It has to get better. I can't decide if I'm more depressed or more angry.
Ugh! Sorry to get all serious.
Update: Well I finally got use to my machine. Started sleeping so much better, but now I keep getting kinks in my neck, mask keeps slipping or hurting my face causing me to have a headache. Hopefully when I go back and get a new mask it will get better.
